Got two pleasant surprises today; an envelope with a sizable check donation was dropped off for our row from Sir Hugh & Helen at Catamaran Marina . A thoughtful and spontaneous gesture for which we are very appreciative .
I feel our distinguished Knight secretly really wants to go , but I believe he’s not too happy with the food menu choices ; no black pudding , souse , curry goat etc !! 😄
My daughter Nicole and her husband Jay , owners of North Coast Hardware and the Color Shop also gave a very considerable donation to our adventure ; if this trend keeps up we should hopefully be on our way to meeting the entrance fee deadline ($75000 EC) due in the next ten weeks .
My son Nick got us the latest Iridium sat phone , the Extreme; I should have had another three or four kids ! ( Yeah , right !)
