Racked up some more sea time today after a forced three week break .
T/S Danny passed almost over us this week , giving us some much needed rain ; winds maxed out at 40 to 50 kts so it wasn’t too bad .Locked the boat safely away in a 40 foot container till the weather
passed . Sadly Dominica to the south was devasted from torrential
rains causing major infra structure damage and some loss of life from flooding .
We also spent the week before that
sorting out our courses ( First Aid , SRC radio , sea survival ,
Boat Captains liscence Grade 1 ).
We all got through with out too
ado .
The row was actually quite enjoyable , even relaxing .
Will be going out again in three days at night to deploy the sea anchor and drogue .
