Food for the Row

We’re working to finalizing full payment and delivery for our food this week from Expedition Foods to the boat for storage on board at Charlie Pitchers boat factory ; once this is done we will immediately ship it out to Antigua for trials .

My brother John the lawyer has generously given us a check towards paying for the food and we are very grateful for this .

Also Anjo’s Insurances and Massy United Insurance have given us a significant cash donation and insured the boat for a year for free starting this week . Many thanks to you all , especially Mr. John Hall who has personally contributed a significant check .

The meals are made up for three meals a day for four persons for a mandatory sixty days , all high calorie and actually quite tasty ! They’re freeze dried with long expiry dates and can be prepared in a few minutes by adding boiled water for approx ten minutes from our Jet Boil stove which takes two minutes to boil water . We’ll hopefully be eating freshly caught fish along with this .
